Advanced Analytics Prototype

What is Advanced Analytics?

Advanced Analytics is an experimental feature that allows you to combine results from multiple Easygenerator courses into one consolidated analytics view.

Instead of reviewing results course by course, you can analyze learner performance, progress, and completion trends across several courses at once. This is especially useful if you manage a group of related courses and want higher-level insights.

With Advanced Analytics, you can:

  • Get a portfolio-level overview of learning performance.

  • Compare results across multiple courses.

  • Identify learner engagement and completion trends over time.

  • Save time by analyzing consolidated data in one place.

How to access Advanced Analytics

You can access Advanced Analytics from the Learner results of any course. To do so:

  1. Open a course in Easygenerator.

  2. Go to Learner results -> Insights.

  3. Click on the Advanced Analytics button in the banner at the top of the page.

Note: This feature is in Beta, and the Advanced Analytics will open in a new browser tab.

How to use Advanced Analytics

Advanced Analytics lets you decide which course results to include in your consolidated view. You can do this either by importing a CSV file or by adding private course result links.

Note: The maximum number of records that can be included at the moment is 3,000.

Step 1: Open the settings

In the Advanced Analytics prototype, open the Settings from the gear icon and choose how you want to add your course data.

Step 2: Choose how to add course data

You have two options:

  • Import a CSV file with course results

  • Add private result links from Easygenerator courses

Option 1: Import a CSV file

  1. In Settings, choose the option to import a CSV file.

  2. Upload your CSV.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the import.

Once imported, the data will be added to your consolidated analytics view.

Option 2: Add course result links

You can add course results by pasting private result links from the courses you want to analyze.

To get the results link, you need to:

  1. Open the course you want to analyze.

  2. Go to Learner results.

  3. Click on Share reports.

  4. Enable the private link.

  5. Copy the link.

Add links in Advanced Analytics

  1. Go back to the Settings in Advanced Analytics.

  2. Click on Bulk add.

  3. Paste the private result link into the field.

  4. Press Enter.

  5. Repeat these steps for each course you want to include.

  6. Lastly, click on the Add and Fetch Names button to load the course titles.

Step 3: Save and sync your data

Once you have added the results from the courses you would like to consolidate, click on the Save Course Settings button, and click on Sync Now to fetch the latest results.

Once syncing is complete, your consolidated analytics are available.

What you can see in Advanced Analytics

After adding courses, you can explore:

  • Learner performance across multiple courses.

  • Overall course performance.

  • Top-performing learners.

  • Completion over time.

  • Score trends over time.

  • Detailed results per learner.

You can also filter results by:

  • Learner name.

  • Course name.

  • Result type (pass, fail, in progress).

  • Start and finish dates.
