Find out how to report results to your custom LRS and learn about the activity statements.

A Learning Record Store (LRS) is a data store system that serves as a repository for learning records (for example, Scorm Cloud). To report learners’ results to your custom LRS, go under Configure tab > Progress and Login > Results Tracking > Advanced settings and opt for Custom LRS.

Statements can be sent to the LRS by posting them to the LRS URL.

Authentication is used to specify the login and password of the Learning Activity Provider (LAP). The Learning Activity Provider is the course that reports statements. In some cases, the LRS requires LAP to be authenticated in order to post statements. If such a requirement exists in your LRS, specify the correct LAP login and password.

You can select the learning activity statements to be sent to the LRS:

started

To announce the course as started.

When a learner starts the course.

progressed

To announce the progress within the course and to track the progress.

When a learner takes an action (answers a question etc.) that contributes towards the course progress.

experienced

To mark scorable content as viewed.

When a learner visits a scorable content page.

answered

To mark a course question as answered.

When a learner submits an answer to a course question.

mastered

To mark the course mastery score as achieved.

When a learner achieves the mastery score. This statement is sent out as soon as the condition is met and therefore it can be sent out prior to the course completion.

passed

To mark a completed course as passed.

When a learner completes the course, and the course is considered passed as per the pass criteria.

failed

To mark a completed course as failed.

When a learner completes the course, and the course is considered failed as per the pass criteria.

Make sure to update/republish the course to apply the latest changes to the settings.
