We’ve introduced a mini toolbar as part of the course introduction editor and the questions editor (for instructions, hints, and feedback). It’s designed to help you add content more easily while keeping your course clean, focused, and clutter-free. With just the right set of content blocks available, your content flows better—both for you while editing and for learners while navigating.

Available content blocks in the mini toolbar

Here’s what you can add using the new mini toolbar:

In course introduction

You can add the following five content blocks:

  • Text

  • Image

  • Video

  • Audio

  • Document

In questions

You get one additional content type here, making it six:

  • Text

  • Image

  • Video

  • Audio

  • Document

  • Hotspot

This streamlined setup helps you focus on what really matters—delivering a great learning experience without unnecessary distractions.

What about existing courses?

Don’t worry—any content blocks you've already used in your existing courses will remain just as they are. You can still edit them, too. However, going forward, you’ll only be able to add the content blocks listed above when working in the new editor.
