As the course owner, you can delete any course you've created. To delete a course, click on the three dots -> Delete course. Read the important information on the pop-up message and confirm the deletion by clicking the Delete button.

You can also select multiple courses at once by hovering over the empty area on the left side of the course and ticking the courses you would like to delete (you can select all your courses automatically by clicking on the Select all first checkbox option, or manually tick one by one) -> Then, click on the Delete option -> Read the information and last but not least, click on Delete.

Note: You can unselect all the courses by clicking on the minus button (-) from the toolbar.

What Happens After You Delete a Course?

Deleted courses are not immediately permanently removed. Instead, they will be moved to a dedicated folder called Deleted courses, where they remain for 30 days before being permanently deleted automatically.

Inside the Deleted courses folder, you can:

  1. Preview the course

  2. Restore it

  3. Permanently delete it

You’ll also see:

  • The date the course was deleted

  • Who deleted it

Note: Only course owners and admins can restore deleted courses. When a course is restored, all associated data—such as course results, co-authors, and comments—is restored as well.

Permanently Deleting a Course

If you choose to permanently delete a course from the Deleted courses folder:

  • You will first need to read the important information shown in the confirmation dialog.

  • Then, check the acknowledgment box to confirm you understand permanent deletion cannot be undone.

  • Once confirmed, the course will be removed permanently

Important:

  • A co-author can not delete the course but can stop co-authoring.

  • Courses that are permanently deleted cannot be recovered.
