We’re simplifying how course settings work by removing the Show content pages toggle from Course settings. The same behavior will now be managed through the Question Pool setting.
What is changing?
Previously, you needed to manage two separate settings:
Show content pages — controlled whether content pages were displayed in the course.
Question Pool — allowed you to show questions only in a course.
After this update, enabling Question Pool will automatically hide content pages. The separate Show content pages toggle will no longer be available.
Who will be affected by this change?
For most courses, nothing will change. If you are not using question-only course flows, your courses will continue working as before.
You may be affected if:
If you leave your course unchanged, learners will not notice any difference.
However, if you update or republish an affected course after this change:
Content pages will appear together with questions.
If you want to keep a questions-only experience, you will need to enable Question Pool before publishing.
Important: If you update an affected course, learners who are currently in progress will be prompted to restart the course.
How to keep a questions-only course now?
If you want to show only questions in your course:
Open the course settings.
Go to the Content and questions tab
Under the Question settings section, enable Question Pool.
Then you can publish your course with questions only.
Why are we making this change?
This update removes an unnecessary dependency between course settings and makes the setup simpler by managing this behavior through one setting instead of two.
The course behavior remains the same — there is just one less setting to manage.
