EasyAI: Generate and edit images

Create consistent and high-quality images that perfectly match your course content within our tool.

Written by María Isabel Zuleta Zapata

EasyAI can generate images for your course or edit an image that's already there. You can do this conversationally, by describing what you want in EasyAI chat, or directly on an image block via Advanced image options.

To learn more about our general EasyAI agent model, see EasyAI: Create and edit course content with our AI agent.

Generating a new image

In chat: open EasyAI chat (via the EasyAI button), make sure the block or page you want the image on is in context, then describe the image you want — or ask the agent to generate one based on the surrounding content instead of writing a description yourself.

For example:

  • "Generate an image of a warehouse with employees following the safety procedures"

For a simple, unambiguous image request, the agent may generate it directly rather than showing a plan first; for anything bundled with other changes (for example, generating a whole section including its cover image), you'll see a plan to approve first.

Editing an existing image in place

On the block: click the image block to bring up Edit with AI, then use Advanced image options to adjust style and quality directly — without writing a prompt or going through the chat.

In chat: alternatively, you can open the EasyAI agent and click on the image, or describe what you'd like to change from the image directly in the Edit with AI box. The agent edits the existing image rather than replacing it with a new one.

For example:

  • "Make this black and white."

Reviewing a generated or edited image

Like any other agent change, once the new or edited image appears, you'll see a chip in the turn's result summary (for example, "Image — Added" or "Image — Edited").

You can preview the before/after with Show original, or undo it with Revert changes. See [Reviewing and undoing what the agent did] for the full detail.

FAQ

What's the difference between Advanced image options and asking in chat?

Advanced image options is the fastest path for style and quality changes on an existing image — no need to describe what you want in words.
The EasyAI chat is more flexible: use it for anything Advanced image options doesn't cover, like generating a brand-new image from a description, or edits described in natural language (e.g. "change the color of the lines in the image to white and add a sepia tone").

Can I write my own custom prompt for an image instead of asking the agent to base it on the content?

Yes — describe exactly what you want in the prompt box instead of asking it to generate "based on the content."

What if I don't like the result?

Ask the agent to try again with a more specific description (for example, adjust the style or subject), or revert the turn and start over.
