Skip Login access

Use Skip Login access to control how learners access your Easygenerator courses.

You can allow learners to access an Easygenerator course without logging in or creating an account by enabling Skip Login access on a Private Link.

This is ideal for frontline workers, contractors, partners, and external audiences who do not have company credentials or an Easygenerator account.

How to enable Skip Login access for your Easygenerator course

To allow your learners to skip the login for your course, you can either do it directly from the course Settings or get there from the Publish tab.

Note: Keep in mind that when you turn on Skip Login access, some features are automatically disabled to support anonymous learning. These features are:

  • Progress saving

  • Access lists

  • Certificates

These limitations apply because learners are not authenticated.

Here are the steps to enable the Skip Login access:

Course Settings:

Here, you'll need to first access the course settings by clicking on the three dots at the top right corner of the course editor and selecting Settings.

Once there, you'll find the Skip Login access under the Login and results tab. You will be able to select an identifier for your learners to provide, which can be either their name, email address, ID, or nothing at all.

If no identifier is selected, learners will still appear in Results and Satisfaction surveys, but as a randomly generated ID. This allows basic usage insights while keeping access friction-free.

Publish tab

You can also get to the login settings from the publish tab, in which case you'll need to click on the Publish button at the top right corner of the course. Then, under the "Share Private link" option, click on Generate.

Once the Private link is generated, you'll be able to choose how the course is shared:

  • Anyone → Skip Login access can be selected

  • Only invited learners → Login is required

To set up the Skip Login access, make sure to select "Anyone", then click on "Link settings". This will take you to the Settings tab, where you can set up the Skip Login access. The same identifier options mentioned above apply here.

Kindly note that you will need to get back to the Publish tab to update the course in order to save any changes made.

Backward compatibility

For existing courses that previously did not use an access list:

  • The learner experience remains unchanged

  • Skip Login is applied only after the author opens the course and clicks Update

Use Skip Login when training external, frontline, or temporary audiences who do not need tracked progress or certificates.

Can I track learner progress and results with Skip Login enabled?

Yes, if the Results tracking is enabled for your course, you'll see your learner's progress on the Learner Results tab with the identifier provided.

If no identifier is selected, the results will be saved with a random ID.

Where do I enable Skip Login access in Easygenerator?

You enable Skip Login under your course Settings, and it will become available when you generate the Private link in the Publish tab and allow access to Anyone.
