EasyAI: Create and edit course content with AI

Use EasyAI to generate new content, refine existing text, set up course guidelines, and prompt AI directly within your Easygenerator course.

You can use Easygenerator's EasyAI to generate new content, improve existing text, follow course-level guidelines, and prompt AI directly inside the editor.

EasyAI 2.0 introduces modular content creation, course-level guidance, and context-aware AI that understands your existing content. This results in more accurate, consistent output and a smarter, more integrated workflow.

What you can do with EasyAI in Easygenerator

  • Set course guidelines to define goals, tone, audience, and reference documents that shape all AI outputs.

  • Create with AI to generate new content blocks blocks based on prompts or uploaded files.

  • Edit with AI to rewrite, expand, or transform existing text.

  • Chat with AI to ask questions, iterate on ideas, or get contextual suggestions based on page content.

Set course guidelines

Course guidelines define the context EasyAI uses to generate and refine your course content. They act as the “brain of the course”, combining your course goal, custom instructions, and reference files.

EasyAI applies your course guidelines to all AI actions (Create with AI, Edit with AI, Chat with AI) to keep output accurate and consistent across your course.

How to Set Course Guidelines

  1. Click the sparkles icon in the editor or the Create with AI button in the Quick Access toolbar in a content page.

  2. Select Set course guidelines.

  3. Enter your Course goal to define the overall purpose of the course.

  4. Add Content guidelines, such as tone, audience, difficulty level, writing style, or dialect.

  5. Upload up to three reference files to provide EasyAI with source material for grounding new content.

  6. Save your settings.

Note: You can update Course Guidelines at any time. Future AI generations will follow your most recent instructions.

Tips for effective course guidelines

  • Keep your course goal clear and action-focused.

  • Use short, direct instructions for tone and style.

  • Upload only files that directly relate to your course topic.

  • Update guidelines as your course evolves to maintain consistency.

Create with AI

Use Create with AI to generate new content blocks for your page. You can enter a prompt or upload supporting files; then, you can let EasyAI recommend the best block type or choose one yourself.

How to use Create with AI

  1. Click Create with AI in the Quick Access toolbar.

  2. Enter a short prompt describing the content you want to generate.

    • Optional: Upload up to 3 files to give EasyAI additional context.

  3. Choose a content block type, or leave Auto choice selected to let EasyAI pick the best option.

  4. Click Generate.

  5. Review the generation and select:

    • Apply to add it to your page, or;

    • Regenerate to request a new version. Note: If you upload files when using Create with AI, they will take priority over your course guidelines for that specific generation request.

Note: Only the two most recent generations are available in Create with AI. Each time you regenerate content, the new version replaces the oldest one.

Edit with AI

Use Edit with AI to refine and improve existing text directly in your page editor. This feature allows you to rewrite, expand, or adjust content while keeping your course context intact.

How to use Edit with AI

  1. In the page editor, add or select a Text block.

  2. Click Edit with AI from the toolbar that appears at the top of the text block to open the AI editing options.

  3. Hover over an option and choose the action you want from the drop-down menu that appears.

Make interactive

Use Make interactive to turn text into engaging, interactive blocks that enhance learner participation. EasyAI can convert your text into five interactive formats:

After you select a type, EasyAI generates a preview of the interactive block beneath your text. You can keep it, regenerate it, try a different content type, or cancel the generation if you no longer need it.

Notes:

  • The Try again option allows you to experiment with different interactive block types. If you click outside the block or close the editor, your content is saved automatically.

  • The Make interactive option is unavailable within Checklist and How-to blocks.

Generate image

Use Generate image to add visuals that match your course content. EasyAI can create images automatically based on your content block, or you can write your own prompt to describe what you want.

After generation, a preview appears beneath your text. You can keep the image, regenerate it, or try a different description to refine the result.

Generate questions

Use Generate questions to quickly create assessment items from your course text. EasyAI will generate questions with correct answers and add them directly to your course.

How to generate questions

  1. Click into the text block you want to generate questions from, or select the specific text you want to evaluate.

  2. Click Edit with AI > Generate questions, choose a question type, and click Generate.

  3. Review the generated questions (two are created at a time)

    • Optional: Click + Generate more to create additional question options (Note: You can create up to 6 questions. If you would like to generate more options once the limit is reached, click on Modify & regenerate and change your text selection or question type).

  4. Select the question(s) you want to use by clicking the checkbox on the left-hand side of the question(s), then click Add to course.

  5. Your selected question(s) will be added automatically under the current page. You can edit them as needed in the question editor.

Notes:

Rewrite text

Use Rewrite text to adjust your content for clarity, length, or tone based on your course objectives or learning needs.

You can choose from the following options:

  • Create a summary – Condense your content to a shorter, more focused version.

  • Make it simple – Simplify text for better clarity and accessibility.

  • Make it actionable – Emphasize key actions and engagement.

  • Make it detailed – Add supporting details and examples.

  • Make it persuasive – Strengthen your message with a convincing tone.

  • Generate bullet points – Turn your text into clear, concise highlights.

After choosing an option, EasyAI will generate an updated version of your content. Review the result, then:

  • Click Replace to apply changes,

  • Click Regenerate to create another version, or

  • Click Cancel to keep the original text.

Note: For Create summary and Generate bullet points, you can click Insert to add the generated text directly, or Edit & regenerate to refine it before inserting it into your course.

Change tone

Use Change tone to adapt the voice of your content for different audiences or purposes while keeping your message consistent.

The tone options are:

  • Professional – Formal and polished.

  • Friendly – Warm and approachable.

  • Straightforward – Direct and clear.

  • Confident – Assertive and certain.

  • Narrative – Storytelling and conversational.

After you select a tone, EasyAI rewrites the text and shows a preview.

Click Replace to apply the change, Regenerate to create another version, or Cancel to keep the original.

Fix grammar and spelling

Use Fix grammar and spelling to correct language issues in your course content without disrupting your workflow. EasyAI automatically reviews your text and suggests a polished version that aligns with your selected language settings.

After reviewing the correction, click Replace to apply it or Cancel to keep the original version.

Note: EasyAI respects the language settings of each content block (e.g., British English will not be corrected to American English) and preserves names and company-specific terms to avoid unintended changes.

Chat with AI

Use Chat with AI to ask questions, request suggestions, or refine ideas directly within the editor.

With EasyAI 2.0, Chat with AI is now context-aware – it understands the page/question you’re working on and uses your course guidelines to give relevant, tailored responses.

You can use Chat with AI to:

  • Brainstorm topic ideas or examples.

  • Summarize or rephrase parts of your page.

  • Ask for examples, explanations, or alternative phrasing.

  • Generate key takeaways or extra question feedback.

How to use Chat with AI

  1. Select Chat with AI from the sparkles icon in the editor.

    • Note: You can also access Chat with AI from the Edit with AI menu in a text box.

  2. Enter your question or prompt in the text box, and click Send.

  3. After reviewing the AI's response, you can:

    • Click + Create new block to add it as a new text block to your page;

    • Copy the text to your clipboard;

    • Regenerate to request another version.

Notes:

  • Context awareness: Chat with AI maintains awareness of your current page and course guidelines. If you move to another block, the chat context resets to match the new selection.

  • Feedback: You can submit feedback on responses by clicking the thumbs up or thumbs down icons.

  • Closing chat: To close Chat with AI, click the X icon at the top-right corner or the Close button at the bottom of the chat window.

  • Response history: After generating 30 responses, earlier replies are stored under View previous results.

  • Clearing history: To clear your chat history, click Clear history in the lower-right corner and select Clear.

    Note: Deleting your chat history removes all Chat with AI responses permanently. This action cannot be undone.

FAQ

What happens if I refresh the page or close the editor before applying changes?

Any AI-generated content that hasn’t been applied with Apply or Add to course will be lost. Once added, your changes are saved automatically.

Which AI models does EasyAI use?

EasyAI is powered by OpenAI's language models.

How does EasyAI handle privacy?

EasyAI follows Easygenerator’s AI Terms and Conditions to protect your data. The models don’t store or access personal information.

What if EasyAI isn’t working?

Occasionally, EasyAI may be unavailable due to service interruptions from OpenAI. Check OpenAI’s status page or contact [email protected] for help.

Is EasyAI available on all plans?

EasyAI is available on all plans except the Free plan.

Does EasyAI 2.0 replace the Course Builder?

EasyAI 2.0 complements the Course Builder by helping you generate and refine content directly inside a course (e.g., once you've created a course using the Course Builder).

Can EasyAI reuse content from another course?

Not automatically. You can copy text or upload course files as reference materials in your course guidelines to help EasyAI align new content with existing materials.

Can I give feedback on AI generations?

Yes. Click the thumbs up or thumbs down icons next to a response to share your feedback.

Can I turn off EasyAI?

Yes, you can disable EasyAI for your account from the AI settings menu (sparkles icon in the editor).
