We're always on a mission to make your Easygenerator journey smoother and more rewarding. That's why we decided to discontinue Resources as a standalone feature and merge it with Courses. You can still create your one-pager courses (a.k.a. microlearning), like checklists and how-to guides, directly from your Courses. And don’t worry, your existing resources (if any) have been transferred to a folder called ‘Resources’ in your courses list.
Now, about Resources... It served its purpose, but it wasn't getting as much love from users as we hoped. So, we're shaking things up for the better! This transition is our opportunity to innovate further and provide you with a more comprehensive suite of features.
Think of this as a better way to create engaging one-pager courses, complete with features like co-authoring, commenting, advanced publishing options, results tracking, automated translations, and much more. It's all about giving you a more effective authoring experience, all from one place.
Where can I find my existing resources?
Your existing resources have been safely transferred to your Courses, organized in a folder called 'Resources' under the courses section. We've also added a 'resource' tag to them for easy filtering.
Are there any updates to my existing resources?
Your existing resources remain unchanged. Your published links are unaffected, and you'll still be able to access and edit your one-pager courses as before. The results tracking and save progress cross-device options are turned off by default, so your courses remain accessible for learners. These settings can be changed and adjusted as needed at any time.
What if I want to create a Resource or one-pager course (a.k.a. microlearning)?
You can continue to create one-pager courses (a.k.a. microlearning) such as checklists and how-to guides in two ways:
1) Create a course from scratch. Then, go to Configure -> Design -> Layout, and choose One page layout under Display Settings.
2) Use one of our microlearning templates.
