Course Dashboard tabs

My courses

This tab displays all courses you have created. You can open, duplicate, organize, or delete courses directly from this tab.

Shared courses

This tab contains the courses shared with you as a co-author.

Group/Organization courses

This tab is only visible to Group and/or Organization admins.

  • Group admins can see the courses created by members of the groups they manage.

  • Organization owners and admins can view all courses created across the organization.

Deleted courses

This tab contains courses that have been soft-deleted. Courses remain here for 30 days, giving you time to restore a course if it was deleted by mistake.

Organizing and navigating in the Course Dashboard

There are several options for organizing and navigating through your courses:

Folders

Use folders to organize your courses in a way that makes sense for your workflow.

Folders are managed at the author level, which means that individual authors create and manage their own folder structure.

Tags

Use tags to add filters to your courses. Filtering by tag can be combined with the sorting and search options for more accurate results.

Sorting your courses

You can sort courses in the dashboard to quickly surface what you need. Courses can be sorted by:

  • Recently modified first

  • Recently created first

  • Alphabetical order

  • Without folders first (My courses tab)

Sorting applies within whichever tab you are viewing (e.g., My Courses, Shared Courses).

Searching for courses

Use the search bar to find courses by:

  • Course title

  • Author name

  • Tag name

Search works across the currently selected tab and updates results as you type.

Organization admins: Manage organization courses

If you have admins rights in your organization, you can transfer courses and manage organization templates from the Organization courses tab.

Course cards

Every course in the Course Dashboard is displayed as a course card. Course cards give you a quick overview of key information and provide shortcuts to common actions.

Each course card includes:

  • Course title

  • Tags (if applied)

  • Last modified date

  • The More details button will show:

    • The course's file location

    • The groups to which it belongs to (if relevant)

    • The co-authors added (if relevant)

Actions available on a course card

From the course card, you can:

  • Open the course

  • Preview the course

  • Translate the course (if the translation add-on is available for your organization)

  • Publish the course

  • Rename the course

  • Move the course to a folder

  • Duplicate the course

  • Delete the course (moves it to the Deleted courses tab)

If relevant, you can also view:

  • Learner results

  • Course discussions

Note: Actions may vary depending on your role in the organization.

FAQs

How do I access the Course Dashboard?

Click Courses in the top navigation bar, or All courses next to Recent activity in the Home page.

Why do I see different tabs than other users?

The Group/Organization courses tab appears based on your role:

  • Organization Owners/Admins see Organization Courses, and the courses of any groups they are the admins of.

  • Group Admins see My Groups Courses.

What happens when I delete a course?

Deleted courses move to the Deleted courses tab and remain there for 30 days. You can restore them at any time during this period.

Can admins see deleted courses?

Yes. Organization admins and the Organization owner can see all deleted courses for auditing and governance purposes.

Do other authors see my folders?

No. Folders are private to each author. Organizing a course into a folder does not move it for other collaborators or administrators.
